Is My Building Eligible for the Solar for Apartments Rebate?

Eligibility depends on your Owners Corporation tier, building type, size and history — not just wanting solar. Every criterion below must be met. Supply Solar checks all of it as part of a free feasibility assessment, before you commit to raising it with your OC.

How do you get an owners corporation to agree to solar?
The OC must pass a special resolution under the Owners Corporations Act 2006 — typically requiring resident interest, a proper proposal with savings and payback numbers, and a vote at a general meeting. How does solar work when everyone has their own meter?
Solar-sharing technology distributes generated electricity fairly across individually metered apartments, crediting each unit's share — no embedded network required. Can a building on an embedded network get the rebate?
No. Buildings already connected to an embedded network are not eligible for the Solar for Apartments rebate under current rules.
